Mainit Project
Mainit Project
Mainit Project is a 2111-hectare high-sulfidation epithermal gold-silver mineralization with porphyry target at depth. It is comprised of two combined tenements next to each other with separate exploration applications. Midan has completed initial reconnaissance geological mapping and sampling in the area.
Location
Mainit Project is located in Sitio Mainit, Barangay Tayak, Siaton, Negros Oriental, Philippines. It lies on the Late Negros Magmatic Arc.
Exploration
Our initial reconnaissance geological mapping and sampling indicated peak anomalous value for gold at 0.13g/t Au and silver at over 100g/t Ag. This confirmed the presence of gold and silver mineralization in the area. Its mineralization is wide advanced argillic alteration hosted in the volcanic with silicic zones (silica caps, quartz veins and breccias).
Timeline
Midan will conduct its next-stage exploration upon the release of the exploration permit.
